Soft-15khz with alineware 18 laptop

Hi I have an Alienware laptop with dual nvidia 880m gpu's, can I use soft 15khz with this?

When I tried it I got an error message ''Run-time error '13': type mismatch

Oh wow... Haven't seen a runtime error for a long time.
However I cannot tell you anything for sure without a registry dump of HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Video

start regedit surf to the entry mentionend by sailor and right click it and choose export...
